Maclean Trophy |
The
Alick Maclean Trophy is the Festival's Premier Award.
All
Senior Trophy Winners will compete for this trophy at the
Prize Winners' Concert.

Alick
Maclean (1872 -1936) was theatre and light orchestra conductor
who composed operas, choral and orchestral works. His daughter
lived in Bonehill, Tamworth and she donated the trophy,
in 1945, in memory of her father.
The
original trophy is now kept in the Mayor's silver collection
in Tamworth Town Hall. |
